You’ll lead the teams responsible for Property Compliance, Contract Management, Asset Management and Health & Safety, helping us provide safe, well-maintained places for customers and colleagues. You’ll shape how we invest in our homes, support our journey to net zero, and play an important part in our Senior Leadership Team. Governance: As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, support a shared endeavour governance culture built on openness and transparency. Safety: Ensure that property safety, customer and colleague measures are effective and compliant with Group policies and legislative and regulatory requirements. Be the Group’s Competent Person as stipulated by Health and Safety Legislation. Finance and Risk: Be responsible for the risk management and cost effectiveness of your areas of responsibility. Relationships: Maintain positive, productive relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders. What skills and experience do you need? Skills and Attributes: Visionary; self-aware; proactive and innovative; team player; ability to develop excellent working relationships; ability to build a motivated and talented team; technical expertise; negotiation; financially literate and a great communicator. Knowledge: Sound knowledge of challenges facing the sector, understanding of the construction and property industry, corporate governance, legislative frameworks and regulatory requirements. Experience: Experience of leadership; building strong and effective teams and partnerships; devising and delivering strategies, business plans, budgets and policies; leading innovation within own area of responsibility. Qualifications: Relevant degree level education or equivalent professional qualification. Membership of the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety and an appropriate Nebosh qualification. What are the pay and benefits?
