We are looking for a highly self motivated individual to join our team of Compliance Officers. With ownership of a large area of the North West of England you will be responsible for interacting with Hospitals within your remit, providing guidance, training and support. Your key role will be to monitor hospital compliance against our customers targets whilst seeking ways to improve these by providing best practice recommendations and creating escalation paths to facilitate improvement. Full training provided however a key attribute is that applicants must be confident in their ability to communicate clearly to a wide range of audiences and seniority levels.This role is focussed on the Health industry and is not related to the legal, financial, GDPR or governance sectors. A full UK Driving Licence is essential.Responsibilities:To take full ownership of all Hospital units allocated, with regards to the functions associated to the Registry contracts which NEC provide, including;KPI MonitoringAnalysis of all unit performance statistics using centralised data toolsTargeting of poor performing units – ownership and management of these units through an improvement and escalation planDetailed, accurate and timely progress reporting both internally and to clientTrainingSupporting units through the data entry training processGain a deep understanding of the Registry data and applications and use this knowledge to teach our user communityPresentations to stakeholders, upon request, regarding NEC Registry applications, the data itself, how it is calculated, interpreted and presented.Data QualityAct as liaison and 2-way support between hospitals within your remit and the NEC Data Quality teamQueriesManage and resolve all queries logged for the hospitals under your remit using the NEC incident management systemIdentify frequently asked questions and document these in the shared repositoryEventsAttendance at Regional and National events representing NEC and our customer’s servicesFeedback system user acceptance testingParticipate in user acceptance testing of registry output services (systems, reports etc)Maintain contacts databaseMaintain/update contacts database with staff changes at your hospitalsTo maintain up to date knowledge of procedures and policies relevant to this post.QualificationsEssential:Proficient in Microsoft office – especially word/excel/powerpointAbility to self-motivateAbility to work as part of team and on your ownExcellent communication skillsGood problem solving/issue investigation skillsAbility to work under pressureAbility to manage and prioritise workload effectivelyTo be able to work flexibly when required.Attention to detailAbility to deliver presentations to a wide range of audiencesDesirable:Knowledge of GDPR/Data protection rulesExperience within the Healthcare industryExperience of a Compliance related role excluding finance/insuranceAbility to analyse statistics and make informed decisions based on the data availableAdditional InformationWe pride ourselves in offering an excellent benefits package, including an above average pension scheme.
