Electronics Engineer - Bristol - Contract
We're currently recruiting for an Electronics Engineer to join an innovative team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on the design and development of cutting-edge electronic systems, supporting the creation of new products and technologies.
You'll be part of a talented Electronics & Software team, working hands-on in the lab (with hybrid flexibility available for the right candidate).
Responsibilities/What we're looking for
* Degree in Electronic Engineering, Robotics, or a related subject
* Solid understanding of electronics fundamentals and confidence with basic hand calculations
* Experience with 32-bit ARM microcontrollers (e.g., STM32) and/or FPGAs
* Knowledge of protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, BLE, USB, and Ethernet
* Understanding of PCB layout and low-power circuit design
* Good commercial awareness and time-management skills
Nice-to-have skills
* Experience in a consultancy environment
* Medical device development (EN 60601)
* Compliance and testing knowledge (CE/FCC, EMC, radio, safety)
* Product development from concept through to manufacture
* Altium Designer experience
