MarTech Director – Global Financial Services Leader

Base Salary: Up to £165,000 + monetary bonus and other benefits
We are partnering with a globally recognised, top-tier financial services organisation to appoint a MarTech Director into a highly strategic, business-critical leadership role. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a large, complex enterprise at Director level and play a defining role in shaping its marketing technology future.
The Opportunity
This is more than just a leadership role, it’s a genuine seat at the table. You will be responsible for setting the MarTech vision and driving enterprise-wide strategy, ensuring the organisation’s technology ecosystem is fit for purpose, future‑ready, and capable of supporting scalable, secure growth.
You will lead the consolidation and optimisation of the MarTech stack, bringing clarity and cohesion to a fragmented landscape. This includes evaluating existing platforms, identifying gaps, and introducing the right tools and systems to enable the business to scale safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and deliver the enterprise MarTech strategy aligned to business objectives
* Lead large‑scale consolidation and transformation of marketing technology stacks
* Identify capability gaps and implement solutions to enhance performance and efficiency
* Partner with senior stakeholders across marketing, technology, data, and compliance
* Ensure governance, scalability, and security across all MarTech platforms
* Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing team
About You
* Proven experience operating at Director level within MarTech or Marketing Technology
* Strong track record of leading MarTech stack consolidation and transformation programmes
* Experience within large, complex organisations (financial services experience advantageous)
* Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams
* Strategic mindset with the ability to influence at executive level
* Deep understanding of modern marketing technology ecosystems
