Supply Chain Coordinator - Hobbycraft Head Office, BH23 6HG
Salary - up to £26,000 per year dependent on experience - Pension with a 4% contribution, 25 days holiday increasing every year, 25% discount in our stores
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours. Our core business hours are Monday to Friday – 10am to 3pm with a flexible approach to start and finish times
Our hybrid working model is 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
Overview:
The Supply Chain Coordinator is an administrative role that requires a strong level of attention to detail to improve the efficiency and operation of our team. The role requires a sound knowledge of the wider Supply Chain environment and good understanding of the market that Hobbycraft trades in.
The role takes responsibility for coordinating and communicating responses from stores and suppliers, creating adhoc orders and supporting the Supply Chain team with stock queries and requests. A key part of the role is keeping documentation up to date and managing data entry into our software.
Strong working relations with key stakeholders should be built to enable the coordinator to operate cross functionally and achieve results as part of a team. A proactive and problem-solving approach is necessary, ensuring a timely response to fast-changing priorities.
Key Accountabilities:
· Manage the Supply Chain Inbox and deal with queries from stores and suppliers; liaising with other cross functional teams where required
· Respond to adhoc stock requests and supply chain queries from other functions
· Creating and prioritising adhoc purchase orders or store transfers where required to support the Supply Chain team
· Work with external suppliers to support the timely arrival of purchase orders to our Distribution Centre and store base
· Contact suppliers to obtain Proof of Delivery where required
· Collate and circulate reports that are used by the Supply Chain team and wider business
· Support the Supply Chain team with key tasks as required; this could include an involvement in strategic projects or working groups to provide workload support
