The Role As Environment & Sustainability Advisor, you’ll support major infrastructure projects within a well-established alliance. Reporting to the SHEA Manager, you’ll provide specialist environmental advice, ensure compliance with legislation, and champion sustainable practices across design and delivery teams. Key Responsibilities Provide technical environmental support and review project documentation Promote and implement sustainable construction practices Engage with regulators and external stakeholders on environmental matters Contribute to pre-construction planning and risk assessments Monitor changes in environmental legislation and support compliance across teams Manage environmental non-conformances and support internal reviews Represent the organisation in environmental working groups and forums Support alignment with the Alliance Management System (AMS) About You Degree in an environmental or related discipline Proven experience in environmental management within construction or infrastructure Broad understanding of environmental areas, such as: Contaminated land / Waste management / Ecology and archaeology / Soil testing / Carbon and sustainability / Social value and statutory nuisance / Incident investigation Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience working in collaborative or framework environments
