Job Description:
You'll be part of a front-office aligned production support function, responsible for ensuring the health and stability of live trading systems across EMEA and US markets. The role involves real-time issue resolution, managing infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments, and maintaining high operational standards for pre-market readiness and release management.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-touch support for front-office users, resolving production issues impacting trading systems.
Monitor and maintain trading infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments.
Ensure all trading systems are fully operational before market open.
Support a wide range of production systems including trading platforms, FIX/exchange connectivity, and risk systems.
Manage release and deployment processes, maintaining stability in production environments.
Maintain and support static data processes and internal databases.
Build tools and automation to improve system visibility and monitoring.
Participate in an on-call rota for evening and weekend support (typically remote).
Key Requirements
Minimum 2 years' scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell, Command Line, or Python).
At least 3 years in a production or application support role, ideally in trading or financial services.
Strong experience with Windows server/desktop administration and Linux systems.
Solid relational database skills (SQL Server or Postgres preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of ownership and accountability.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform under pressure in a front-office setting.
Exposure to Equities, Futures, FX, or Commodities.
Familiarity with market data feeds or algorithmic trading systems.
Understanding of market-making, liquidity provision, or execution work flows.
