As a Client Services Support, in the Edinburgh office, you will have a key role in supporting the AAB Wealth team in the delivery of high-quality client service. You will support in onboarding new clients, gathering data on client's existing plans, preparing for client meetings and implementing financial planning advice for new and existing clients. A good understanding of business disciplines is required, along with the ability to apply technology to your work. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Record and maintain accurate client records on our back office system and ensure all client communications are recorded * Prepare, process and monitor the delivery of new and existing client work, ensuring clients receive high quality service at all times * Prepare the necessary client packs and documentation ahead of all meetings * Liaise with product and investment providers and collate information accordingly * Ensure the planners, and clients, are updated regularly and in a timely manner throughout the client journey * Review client files upon completion of business * Work to target Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements * Actively promote ideas and suggestions, and participate in all business improvements as part of the firm's commitment to continuous improvement * Adhere to regulatory conduct rules, and understand professional ethics and the firm's methods and standards of working PERSON SPECIFICATION QUALIFICATIONS * Certificate in Financial Services (Cert CII (FS)) - units R01 & LP2 (minimum/working towards) * Working towards CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) EXPERIENCE * Previous experience of working in a similar role * Experience of working to tight deadlines KNOWLEDGE * Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and relevant software packages * Working knowledge of relevant legislation and industry best practice * Knowledge of financial products and plans SKILLS & QUALITIES * Excellent organisational skills * Strong communication skills - both written and oral * Excellent attention to detail * Problem solving skills * Ability to have the client at the heart of what we do * Good team player with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels * Ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines * Self-motivated, with an ability to develop ideas into practice At AAB you will have tremendous opportunities that will meet your career aspirations, working in a progressive, energetic and stimulating environment alongside supportive and engaging professional teammates.
