Hours: 42.5 hours per week, 8.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with work on Saturdays on a rota basis.

Job Requirements:
We are seeking a HGV Driver responsible for timely vehicle delivery and collection, based in Stevenage but requiring visits to vehicles off-site. The role demands a confident individual with excellent presentation, local road knowledge, and a positive, calm attitude under pressure. Responsibilities include vehicle checks, cleaning, preparing vehicles for resale, parking, and security. Good communication with the office and teamwork are essential. Basic mechanical knowledge and customer service skills are preferred. You must hold a full HGV license, driver’s card, and current CPC certification. This is a customer-facing role requiring strong customer care skills and good spoken English.
Key Tasks:
* Thoroughly check vehicles before delivery
* Agree vehicle condition with clients and complete documentation
* Coordinate delivery times and locations with clients
* Return vehicles to the workshop or via other means as agreed
* Assist in the workshop and yard as needed
Attributes and Qualifications:
* Valid HGV license
* HGV driving experience
* Current DIGI card
* CPC card
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Clean driving license
* Excellent sense of direction
* Attention to detail
