Support Worker - Learning Disabilities / Autism / Complex Care Swanage £13.00 per hour 8:00am - 8:00pm Shifts Fixed 2-Week Rolling Rota Shift Pattern This role operates on a 2-week rolling rota : Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday All shifts are 8:00am - 8:00pm (12-hour shifts). About the Role We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and committed Support Worker to join a specialist service in Swanage supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex care needs. You will be delivering high-quality, person-centred support while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing in a safe and structured environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver person-centred care tailored to individual needs Support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health conditions Assist with personal care and daily living tasks Promote independence, life skills, and community access Follow Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans Manage and safely de-escalate challenging behaviours Administer medication in line with training and policy Maintain accurate care records and incident reports Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams Essential Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Essential) Experience supporting individuals with LD, autism, or complex care needs Strong understanding of safeguarding and CQC standards Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to commit to the fixed 2-week rota pattern What We Offer £13.00 per hour Supportive management team Opportunity for long-term career progression please contact kurtis@howard-finley.co.uk with your up to date cv
