What You’ll Be Doing:
✔ Managing, mentoring, and developing a small finance team
✔ Overseeing all core accounting activities including bookkeeping, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end/year-end processes
✔ Ensuring strong financial controls and compliance with internal policies and external regulations
✔ Producing accurate financial reports to support business decision-making
✔ Partnering with internal departments to provide financial insight and operational support
✔ Enhancing processes, systems, and reporting frameworks
✔ Maintaining a positive, professional, and collaborative finance environment
What We’re Looking For:
💡 AAT Level 4 qualified or higher (or equivalent experience)
💡 Proven experience managing and developing finance staff
💡 Strong, hands-on background across all areas of accounting
💡 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – confident working with people at all levels
💡 Organised, analytical, and proactive with strong problem-solving skills
💡 Adaptable, team-focused, and keen to support continuous improvement
