Your new role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Internal Sales Coordinator to join our team in Swansea.This is a key role within the business, acting as the central point between customers, the external sales team, and internal departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full sales order process, supporting sales activity, and ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Support
1. Support the external sales team in managing customer accounts and achieving targets
2. Process and follow up on sales enquiries and leads
3. Maintain strongmunication with customers and internal teams
4. Monitor customer activity and provide sales reports
Order Processing & Management
5. Accurately process customer orders using SAP
6. Verify pricing, lead times, quantities, and delivery requirements
7. Manage orders from receipt through to delivery
8. Liaise with suppliers and factories to ensure timely fulfilment
9. Monitor open orders and resolve any issues
Customer Service
10. Act as the main point of contact for customer queries
11. Provide updates on orders, deliveries, and product availability
12. Handleplaints professionally and raise Non-Conformance Reports where required.
Quotations & Pricing
13. Prepare and issue quotations to customers
14. Check stock availability and pricing structures
15. Liaise with factories for pricing support where needed
16. Ensure all quotations are approved prior to release
Invoicing & Administration
17. Generate delivery notes and invoices via SAP
18. Prepare export documentation and shipping paperwork
19. Support credit control processes (statements, overdue accounts)
20. Maintain accurate customer records
Additional Duties
21. Manage customer portals and update order information
22. Provide ad hoc administrative support to the sales team
What you'll need to succeed
23. Ideally, you will have 2–3 years’ experience in a sales support / internal sales / customer service role.
24. Strongmunication and organisational skills
25. High level of attention to detail and accuracy
26. Confident working with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Desirable
27. Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
28. Background in manufacturing, distribution, or technical sales environments
29. Understanding of export processes

What you'll get in return
This is a superb opportunity to join a successfulpany with a global footprint, along with a rich history. This is a permanent role; the salary is £26,500 plus benefits. Hours of work are 9am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch. You will be fully office-based for the first 6 months. After 6 months, there is hybrid work available: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home. There is also a flexible working system in place, whereby you can build up to 2 days flexitime.
