As Subject Leader for Design and Technology, you will drive the strategic direction of the department, ensuring a vibrant and innovative curriculum that inspires students at all stages. Your leadership will be central to maintaining high standards and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Shape the vision and strategic development of Design and Technology, leading the department with clarity and purpose.

* Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure consistently high standards in teaching and learning.
* Lead curriculum planning and development, ensuring a broad, balanced, and relevant programme across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
* Champion professional development, supporting colleagues to enhance their practice and achieve their potential.
* Use assessment data effectively to drive improvement and accountability within the department.
* Manage resources and budgets efficiently, maximising opportunities for innovation and student engagement.
