Milk Education is looking for a caring and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream school in Enfield, supporting pupils within a specialised provision. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real difference for children with additional needs in an inclusive school environment.
Role Overview
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing targeted support to pupils with SEND, both one-to-one and in small groups
2. Assisting teachers in implementing personalised learning plans and interventions
3. Supporting pupils’ emotional, social, and behavioural development
4. Collaborating closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to ensure progress
5. Encouraging an inclusive, positive, and engaging classroom atmosphere

Candidate Requirements
10. Experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting preferred
11. Strong communication skills and patience
12. Ability to follow guidance and work collaboratively with staff
13. Understanding of SEND strategies and interventions
14. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
