Social Worker
Are you a passionate and experienced social worker with a focus on children? We are currently recruiting a Social Worker to join our dedicated Children with Disabilities Service. About the Role:
The Social Worker will be responsible for delivering high-quality social care services within the Children with Disabilities Service. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to support vulnerable children and their families, ensuring compliance with legal and safeguarding protocols.
Candidate Responsibilities:
* Provide expert social work support to children with disabilities and their families
* Assess needs and develop tailored care plans
* Undertake legal processes and court work when necessary
* Work effectively within the Children's Services statutory framework
* Maintain accurate and detailed case records
* Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure comprehensive support
* Attend court hearings and participate in legal proceedings as required
* Support the team in achieving positive outcomes for children and young people
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years of social work experience with children
* Knowledge and experience of legal processes and court work related to children’s services
* Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Relevant social work qualification and registration
* Valid UK driving license (preferred due to travel between areas)
