We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Machinery Master Technician to join our dynamic team at our brand new Brock Machinery Depot.
As a Carr's Billington Machinery Master Technician, you'll be the driving force behind exceptional technical support for leading agricultural brands such as Weidemann, Merlo, Krone, BVL, Hi-Spec and Major. You'll play a pivotal role in launching our new workshop, working hand‑in‑hand with the Machinery Manager to deliver seamless operations and industry‑leading service.

Responsibilities
You’ll be at the heart of our operation, taking responsibility for day‑to‑day processes in line with company guidelines, while ensuring smooth communication between all parties. This is your opportunity to play a key part in offering industry‑leading levels of service to our internal and external customers by:
* Leading technical support. You will be responsible for repairing, diagnosing, maintaining agricultural machinery and equipment from some of the most prestigious agricultural brands.
* Diagnosing and repairing problems with machinery and equipment to ensure each machine will operate to a high standard in alignment with manufacturer specification to a high level of accuracy.
* Taking ownership of Customer Care – working closely with the wider business and ensuring our customers, old and new, remain engaged.
* Supporting and growing a new area, carefully managing job allocation and building key customer relationships.
* Providing technical expertise and guidance as required across the business.
* Maintaining an on‑call service and offering out‑of‑hours support as required.
* Working within the workshop or in the field/on farm as required.
* Ensuring Dealer Standards are maintained across the department and maintaining a clean and efficient working environment.
* Maintaining a strong working relationship with all machinery departments ensuring work quality, accuracy and deadlines are met.
* Adhering to Company and Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to Safety, Health and Environmental.
* Ensuring all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice, are adhered to in respect of ongoing compliance, including but not limited to UFAS, FIAS, & NOPS assurance schemes.

Qualifications
* Experienced team players, able to operate to their own initiative and to tight deadlines with a 'can‑do' attitude.
* Individuals who have served their appropriate recognised apprenticeship and have recognised and certificated qualifications for servicing and repairing machinery from leading manufacturers.
* Those who are flexible in carrying out work both on customer premises and in our workshop.
* Those with demonstrable knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
* Those who have the ability to manage change and to adapt to unexpected demands on a day‑to‑day basis.
* Confident IT users, including a working knowledge of diagnostic software, with a proven ability to use clear, concise language specific for the purpose and audience.
* Team players who show flexibility with working hours during busy season and weekends in a rapidly changing environment.
* Those with excellent working knowledge of IT systems, particularly diagnostic software.
* Those who have the capacity to assess priorities and manage competing deadlines both independently and as a member of a team.
* People who are experienced with equipment and machinery from any other sector.
A full UK Driving License is required.
