The Regional Manager will be responsible for overseeing all core business operations, ensuring the efficient delivery of projects, high-performing teams, strong customer satisfaction, and robust financial management. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day‑to‑day operations across sales, installation, and administrative functions.
* Oversee scheduling, logistics, and workflow planning for installation teams to ensure timely, efficient, and cost‑effective project delivery.
* Maintain quality assurance standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
* Lead, manage, and develop teams including technicians, office staff, and subcontractors.
* Conduct regular team meetings, performance check‑ins, and formal reviews.
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and training to build capability and strengthen team performance.
* Monitor cash flow and oversee operating budgets.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, and approve operational and job‑related expenditure.
* Implement cost‑control initiatives to support profitability and financial efficiency.
* Act as the primary escalation point for complex or high‑priority customer issues.
* Ensure a consistently high standard of customer experience through clear communication and reliable project delivery.
* Collaborate closely with the sales team by providing operational insight and support.
* Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and overall business performance.
* Develop and optimise systems, tools, and processes to enhance productivity and service delivery.
* Contribute to forecasting, goal setting, and wider strategic decision‑making.
Requirements:
* Strong organisational and planning abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and proactively resolve operational challenges.
* Previous industry experience preferred, ideally within solar, renewable energy.
* A valid driver’s licence is required for site visits and occasional travel.
* Strong technical proficiency, with experience using project management platforms, CRM systems, and cloud‑based tools.
* Forward‑thinking leadership approach, with a focus on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and modern management practices.
