We are currently looking for an individual to join the night shift cleaning team, where you will be carrying out all aspects of interior and exterior cleaning, which includes duties such as:
* Hoovering
* Mopping
* Sanitizing touch points
* Cleaning/restocking toilets
* Changing bins
* Picking up litter
You will typically be working within a team of four Train Cleaners, plus one Team Leader carrying out heavy and deep cleans on the Northern Rail fleet. This is a very fast paced and intensive role that requires a good eye for detail, as you will be cleaning everything on the inside of the train that the public can and cannot see.
You will be working 4 shifts across the week (Sunday to Saturday roster), with the working hours being 21:00 – 01:00, sometimes finishing at 02:00 when needed. You will be guaranteed 17.5 hours a week.

The pay rate for the train cleaner position will be at £13.05 per hour on an initial 6-month basis.

Requirements:
* Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test
* Be able to pass a full railway medical – this will include, sight, hearing, colourisation, heart, lungs, brain, etc
* Be able to attend a week of training at Allerton Depot (Liverpool) on 07/07/2025
* Provide your Right to Work documents before deployment
* Happy to help mentality/attitude
* A good level of fitness is needed as the site is very large and will involve a lot of walking, so please keep this in mind when applying
