Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and possess the skills necessary to provide high-quality care and education in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of children aged 0-5 years, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
* Support children's social and emotional needs, encouraging positive behaviour and interactions.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery environment.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
Skills
* Strong management and leadership abilities to guide junior staff and support team dynamics.
* Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles, particularly the EYFS framework.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for potential off-site activities or outings.

Pay: £12.61 per hour
