To be responsible for the Set Up and effective operation of the process machinery in order to achieve production targets and quality standards. To adhere strictly to Hygiene, Health & Safety requirements and maintain safe working practices.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. · To set up the machinery ready for production; make a thorough check of all process machinery, ensure all guards are in place and functioning correctly.
2. · To ensure that Hygiene and Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times.
3. · To ensure the correct product and equipment is available prior to start up so that the line is ready to commence production at the appointed time.
4. · To continuously monitor machinery to ensure it is running correctly and safely during production and to identify and report any mechanical faults or problems immediately to the Department Manager.
