Mechanical Technician We are seeking qualified and experienced Mechanical Technicians to join our client's team, maintaining ship-to-shore cranes and fully automated bulk handling systems to ensure maximum operational availability for vessel loading and unloading activities. This role operates on a flexible shift pattern within a busy 24/7 port environment. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned, preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical systems and working environments. * Work closely with operations teams to prioritise repairs on unserviceable machinery, using fault-finding techniques and diagnostic equipment to minimise downtime. * Complete all required documentation accurately, including daily logs and maintenance work orders. * Perform duties safely and responsibly, adhering to Health & Safety policies and HSE regulations at all times. * Maintain the highest standards of mechanical workmanship. * Support a multi-skilled team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, bringing forward ideas to improve efficiency and smarter ways of working. * Be flexible with working hours, including regular weekend shifts and paid overtime when required.
