Job Description
* Manage procurement processes for IT and marketing categories, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to secure cost-effective agreements.
* Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities for cost savings and improved supplier terms.
* work with a global team, procuring for sites in the US, Asia and Europe.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfil their procurement needs.
* Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
* Prepare and present procurement reports to management, providing insights and recommendations.
* Negotiate contracts that deliver value while managing risks effectively.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Buyer - IT & Marketing should have:
* Experience in procurement, specifically within IT and/or marketing categories.
* Prior experience in a large organisation, to follow process and frameworks that are in place.
* Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
* Proficiency in analysing market trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
* A background in the industrial and manufacturing sector is advantageous.
* Knowledge of procurement systems and processes.
* Attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
