Experienced or Graduate Podiatrist Wanted 👣
We’re a friendly, close‑knit team who genuinely enjoy what we do—and we’re looking for the right podiatrist to grow with us.
Whether you’re about to qualify this summer, or already working and feeling ready for something more – more variety, more support, or more progression – we’d love to hear from you.
At Wombwell & Brinsworth Foot Clinic, we don’t just offer a job – we offer the opportunity to build a long‑term, fulfilling career in a supportive, modern, and forward‑thinking clinic.
Why Join Us
You’ll be part of a supportive team comprising podiatrists, a chiropodist, podiatry students, a foot‑health professional and a fantastic reception team – so you’re never on your own and you can focus on delivering great care rather than chasing admin.
We believe in creating a clinic where you can develop your skills, follow your interests, and genuinely enjoy coming to work. Whether your passion lies in surgery, MSK or advanced treatments, we’ll support you in building your own clinical pathway.
The Role
Work across our clinics in Wombwell (Barnsley) and Brinsworth (Rotherham), both easily accessible via the M1, with flexibility built in where possible.
Responsibilities include a varied and clinically rewarding caseload such as:
* General foot care
* Verruca treatments (SWIFT and Verrutop)
* Fungal nail treatments (Clearanail and Lacuna)
* Nail surgery
* MSK assessments
* Wound care
* Infection management
* Diabetic/high‑risk foot care
Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to introduce and develop needling techniques, expand into other areas depending on your interests, and engage in patient education and maintaining high standards of clinical and professional record keeping.
Clinic
Our modern, well‑equipped clinic is continually investing in both equipment and people. Recent additions include ABPI/TBPI vascular testing, Clearanail and Swift microwave therapy.
There is genuine opportunity to grow services further – particularly for clinicians interested in MSK‑focused roles, including laser or shockwave pathways.
Your Development
We actively support your growth. You’ll have regular mentoring, weekly check‑ins, a paid CPD budget and opportunities to attend conferences. The goal is simple: to help you become the clinician you want to be.
Team & Culture
The team is down‑to‑earth, supportive and enjoys working together. We value positivity, growth and creating a good environment – not just for patients, but for each other too. We also take time for team days out and you get your birthday off.
Working Pattern & Benefits
* 34 hours per week, typically over 4 days with flexibility where possible.
* Two later finishes per week (6 pm) and one Saturday per month (9–3).
* Salary from ÂŁ32,073 for graduates, with higher pay depending on experience and a bonus scheme.
* 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays), plus birthday off (or a day in lieu).
* Pension, parking, uniform and flexitime.
Location & Requirements
The role is based across Brinsworth (Rotherham) and Wombwell (Barnsley), so a driving licence is required.
* BSc (Hons) in Podiatry (or be qualifying in 2026).
* HCPC registration (or pending).
* Experience in general foot care and a willingness to learn advanced treatments.
Start Date & Application
We’re looking for someone to start from May onwards, with a paid shadowing period so you can meet the team and settle in comfortably.
If you’re interested, we’re always happy to have an informal chat or clinic visit first.
