Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care staff to join our team. As a Carer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in a residential setting. Your primary responsibility will be to assist young people with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to follow care plans effectively. Duties: Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing and toileting. Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor young people's health. Maintain accurate records of young people's care and progress, adhering to care plans. Communicate effectively with young people, families, and professionals to ensure continuity of care. Drive young people to appointments or social activities as required. Engage young people in meaningful and appropriate planned activities. Ensure a clean and safe environment for young people at all times. Qualifications: Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with young people and team members. Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately. A valid driving licence for transporting clients when necessary. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with the team. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
