We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated and skilled Payroll and Pensions Officer. The information below provides more detail about the role.

Purposes:
* Supporting the delivery of the payroll and pensions function for the Group ensuring compliance with legislation and a culture of high expectation and accuracy is embedded in all aspects of work
* Under the supervision of the Group Manager - Payroll and Pensions, supporting the delivery of accurate and timely monthly and annual payroll cycles, including but not limited to:
* Entry and updating of payroll data
* Monthly processing of payroll o Checking of payroll accuracy and timeliness
* Answering customer enquiries
Skills/Experience:
* Experience of providing a high standard of customer service
* Experience of working in a payroll team
* Experience in using a payroll system
* Knowledge of latest payroll legislation and guidance
* A good working knowledge of Microsoft office packages particularly Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel
Qualifications:
* Minimum GCSE grade 4 / C in English & Maths or equivalent.
* Level 3 qualification in a relevant area- attained or working towards
Ideal Attributes:
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Interpersonal skills and able to respond appropriately to difficult situations
* Excellent attention to detail
* Well organised, able to prioritise and work to deadlines
