Position: Area Field Account Manager

What you’ll do:
Responsible for managing a team of Field Account Managers to ensure the maintenance and the growth or a portfolio of customers within a set geographical location. Be fully compliant with all internal systems and maintain all customer’s records within our CRM system.
Key Role Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
* Provide guidance, and support to a team of Field Account Managers.
* Regularly evaluate teams performance to ensure achievement of quarterly targets.
* Regularly attend Quarterly Business Reviews with customers providing coaching & feedback to Account Manager.
Driving Strategy
* Drive Strategic direction aligning with overall Commercial Strategy.
* Responsible for supporting with all yield management projects to deliver improved customer margin eg: GPI and margin improvements
Customer Engagement
* Strengthen relationships with high-value clients with regular review meetings.
* Resolve escalated customer issues or ensure the correct escalation channel is used.
Business Development, Maintenance & Growth
* Increase share of wallet from existing customer base within your teams portfolio through the development of all product lines – Domestic, International and Returns.
* Ensure customers adhere to agreed volume levels and take a proactive approach to monitor
* Regularly attend Sales/ Ops meeting.
Performance Evaluation & Reporting
* Provide regular performance & activity reports for line manager.
* Ensure team are regularly logging and updating all customer activity within our Salesforce CRM system including customer call, visits, opportunities and at risk accounts.
* Provide timely and accurate customer revenue and volume forecasts.
Collaboration
* Oversee handovers from SEs / BDMS to FAMS to ensure accounts transition seamlessley mitigating any risks to the client prior to handover.
* Maintain strong collaboration & coordination with all departments
* Facilitate collaboration between Corporate and Field to ensure all best practises are shared.

What We’re Looking For:
* 5 years plus of Sales experience in a related field
* People Management desired
* Strong presentation skills
* Ability to work under pressure, identify and achieve set deadlines
* Analytical in the pre-processing of data
* Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
* Excellent planning and organisation skills.
* Fully competent with our operating systems
* Fully competent with our IT systems and product offering
* Comply with Health and Safety requirements
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Self-motivated with proven ability to manage customers and opportunities within a large geographical area
