Sharp IT Services has an excellent new career opportunity based in Mayfair, London for a On-Site 2nd Line Support Engineer position.
Key Responsibilities
The On-Site 2nd Line Engineer will be based at one of our client sites and will assist with the day-to-day IT support for the client alongside a remote Helpdesk Team.
An average day will be diverse and offer an opportunity to learn a multitude of technologies, by investigating and resolving a variety of requests working closely with the Helpdesk Team.
* Own, update and progress tickets so the client is confident their issue will be investigated and actioned.
* Responsible for meeting agreed Key Performance Indicators to maintain a consistent high standard of service across Sharp IT Services.
* Take an active role in personal and team development to increase technical proficiency and increase productivity.
Skills and Qualifications
* Technical knowledge and experience of IT and IT support with on-site experience.
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Server and Desktop Operating Systems.
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Technologies (365 and Azure)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
* A good understanding of Virtualisation, Networking, Firewalls and Cyber Security.
* Good understanding of Antivirus Software and backup issues.
