Role Responsibilities As a Maths Teacher with Additional Responsibility, you will: • Deliver high-quality Maths teaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential) • Contribute to curriculum planning, sequencing, and development within the department • Support raising attainment and progress strategies across cohorts • Lead on a specific area of responsibility (e.g. assessment, intervention, KS coordination, or curriculum development) • Mentor and support colleagues within the department where appropriate • Contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives • Promote a love of Mathematics and high aspirations for all learners Head of Department Opportunity For an outstanding candidate, there is the opportunity to step into a Head of Maths Department role.
