FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an Integration Manager to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in London.
Our client is seeking highly capable Central Systems Integration Lead to oversee and coordinate the integration of two major IT systems as part of a large-scale transformation programme. This is a strategic and hands-on role that will require exceptional coordination skills, technical understanding of integration tools and APIs, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders — including external partners such as IBM and ATOS.
You will act as the central point of alignment, ensuring seamless integration across systems, services, and suppliers, while also serving as a Strategic Management Advisor (SMA) on integration matters.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and coordinate all integration planning and execution activities, leveraging supplier technical resources where applicable
2. Oversee API integration strategy, including duplication checks, system alignment, and end-to-end flow
3. Serve as the single point of oversight across teams, projects, and suppliers to ensure consistent integration practices
4. Work closely with project and programme teams to ensure effective integration of IT assets across service lines
5. Develop and maintain a clear understanding of all interfacing systems, including the commercial and delivery landscape governing them
6. Identify and implement best practices, processes, and products for integration management
7. Establish and maintain an Integration Asset Register, tracking integration points, ownership, and business value
8. Independently assess the complexity and capability requirements of integration within individual projects
9. Ensure projects have the appropriate support and professional sponsorship to meet integration objectives
10. Perform integration assurance checks at the project, account, and portfolio level to identify risks, systemic issues, and opportunities for improvement or reuse
