Senior Programme Manager – Boeing Commercial Aviation Services Europe Limited

The Role
We are seeking a senior Programme Manager to manage the post‑delivery modification of aircraft interiors, integrating new equipment into aircraft. You will manage multiple stakeholders, coordinate with Engineering, Airworthiness and logistics teams, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. A background in aerospace project management or aircraft modification projects is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
* Act as the focal point between the company and worldwide airline customers.
* Take full ownership of the delivery schedule, quality standards and financial controls from award to final delivery.
* Identify and manage program risks, issues, and opportunities.
* Lead internal program teams to execute program requirements.
* Coordinate internal activities to ensure all tasks progress in line with program requirements.
* Lead and coordinate major milestone meetings with the customer (ITCM, PDR, CDR, FAI) and compile resulting minutes and action plans.
* Interpret customer expectations and requirements for the Engineering team to ensure alignment.
* Provide weekly status updates, milestone schedules and risk‑analysis summaries.
* Communicate program status, financial viability and key issues to senior management.
* Manage customer change requests and support proposals for schedule and cost impact.
* Initiate invoicing of project payments and follow‑up on payments as required.
* Support the creation of proposals in response to customer RFPs.
Work Authorization
This position is for a locally hired candidate in the UK or Ireland. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work in the UK or Ireland immediately. Boeing does not sponsor migration or labor visas.
Preferred Qualifications
* Qualification in Program Management (PMP, CPM, etc.).
* Previous experience of aircraft modification/integration projects.
* Experience in an engineering environment, ideally aerospace industry.
* Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
* Proficiency in MS Office including MS Project.
* Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, sometimes short notice.
* Self‑motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* BS degree in a STEM field or 5+ years’ experience in a related commercial/military aerospace business.
