GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join schools in Rotherham (S60). In this role of CS, you will supervise classes, ensure continuity of learning, and provide a safe and engaging environment for pupils. Responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor: Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain focused and engaged. Deliver pre-prepared lessons and activities across a range of subjects. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Support pupils to stay on task and maintain productive learning. Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil participation and lesson progress. Requirements for Cover Supervisor: Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Confidence in delivering pre-prepared lessons to whole classes. A proactive, flexible approach to working in different school environments. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
