Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism and helping them achieve their full potential? Vision for Education are recruiting for an Autism Support Assistant to work within a specialist school setting in the Wotton-under-Edge area.
This Autism Support Assistant role is ideal for someone who enjoys building positive relationships, supporting individual needs, and helping children develop confidence both in and out of the classroom.

About the Autism Support Assistant Role
As an Autism Support Assistant, you will support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional learning needs, helping them access learning and achieve their individual goals.
Responsibilities include:
7. Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
8. Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence
9. Supporting communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation
10. Promoting positive behaviour throughout the school day
11. Working closely with teachers and SEND staff

18. Strong communication skills
19. Experience in education, care, youth work, or support work is beneficial but not essential
