Warehouse Team Manager - Back shift
Salary: £35,650 to £39,215 plus great benefits
Hours: 39 hours per week, full time, permanent
Shift: 2pm – 10pm, 5 days over 7 (including weekends)
Location: The Co-operative Retail Logistics, Wincanton PLC, Lea Green depot, St. Helens, WA9 5AU
We’re looking for a warehouse team manager to join our team in the Lea Green depot.
Responsibilities
* Manage a sizeable team of warehouse operatives
* Inspire, engage and coach your team to be highly efficient
* Work towards tight deadlines and critical measures
* Develop and build positive relationships with various internal business partners
* Drive warehouse standards, procedures and policies – particularly health and safety
* Analyse performance data
* Identify areas to improve processes within your team and the warehouse operations
* Plan and organise the delivery of own and your team’s workload
Requirements
* Previously managed a sizeable team, preferably from a logistics or FMCG background
* Ability to work at pace with accuracy
* A proven track record of reaching and exceeding critical performance measures
* Understanding and knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
* Excellent planning skills and ability to organise own and team workload
* Understanding of how poor service can impact stores and customers
* Strong and confident communication skills
* Excellent IT skills
