Job Title : Assistant Site Manager Location: Worcester Contract Type: Permanent £55,000 to £60,000 per annum plus package and additional benefits Fawkes and Reece Midlands are representing a leading national house builder, in order to secure them a dynamic Assistant Site Manager. You will be working within West Midlands not only offering a long term role but offering key career progression. The Role My Client is a leading UK house builder and due to internal progression, they are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager for one of their sites in Worcester. This leading house builder produces a wide range of homes for first time buyers and Housing Associations across the Country offering all-inclusive specifications. You will be responsible for: Coordinating the workforce, including sub-contractors and to meet milestones Ensuring that material supplies are available and in stock Ensuring that quality standards and construction programmes are met Managing and maintaining strong relationships with the subcontractor network on site Monitoring Health and Safety on site Development -Including: Site inductions, Quality control check list, incident reports. Mentoring and developing any apprentices or trainees on site Plan and manage site order to ensure site waste is reduced Ensure that the site is secure at the end of each day & complete forklift checklist weekly Skills & Experience Must have previous experience working for a residential house builder as Assistant Site Manager level Must have up-to-date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation and NHBC Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle complex situations and motivate others. Appropriate CSCS card, valid SSSTS, First Aid certificate NVQ Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor desirable (Training will be provided) UK Driving Licence.
