Overview
The Environment Agency is committed to an inclusive workforce reflecting the communities it serves. The Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is focused on creating a centralised portfolio that drives change, transformation, and continuous improvement. We are seeking two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the team. The PMO supports change, transformation, and value management across the portfolio, helping to shape and optimise projects and manage risk.
This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in change and transformation with development opportunities and strong support from the team.
Responsibilities
* Analyse data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio.
* Help set and embed standards for benefits and value management.
* Identify, value and validate project benefits to support decision-making and maximise value.
* Contribute to maintaining dashboards and reporting tools to communicate insights (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
Experience and Skills
* Strong analytical skills with experience as a Benefits Analyst, Efficiencies Analyst, or Business Analyst.
* Experience building and maintaining dashboards or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
* Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build constructive relationships.
* Clear communication skills to explain complex analysis to non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivation, adaptability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Experience producing guidance, toolkits, or frameworks for colleagues.
* Commitment to diversity and inclusion in work and collaboration with people from varied backgrounds.
Additional Information
* Hybrid working pattern; EA Office base location with national scope.
* Some travel and overnight stays may be required.
