Job Description: As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our school kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:
* Washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
* Ensuring all kitchen areas are clean and sanitized
* Assisting with basic food preparation as needed
* Receiving and storing deliveries
* Disposing of waste and recycling appropriately
* Supporting the kitchen staff in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A valid DBS check is required for this position
