Weâre not expecting a full CV - just tell us why youâd love to be part of the team! careers@chemringenergetics.co.uk As a Graduate Apprentice in Process Engineering, youâll gain hands-on experience across a variety of engineering tasks. Youâll learn how to:\nâ¢\tSupport the design of process layouts, jigs, and tooling in collaboration with engineers and design teams.\nâ¢\tTake part in risk assessments and support trial activities to ensure safe and efficient processes.\nâ¢\tContribute to lean manufacturing initiatives and help manage engineering design changes.\nâ¢\tShadow engineers during product and process reviews and gather data for FMEA and statistical analysis.\nâ¢\tAssist with root cause analysis and corrective action plans.\nâ¢\tLearn how to maintain design history files, data packs, and bills of materials.\nâ¢\tSupport the development and upkeep of operational documentation.\nâ¢\tParticipate in production readiness reviews and assist with handovers to manufacturing teams.\nâ¢\tHelp assess changes to materials or suppliers alongside engineers and subject matter experts.\nâ¢\tBuild your skills in technical report writing, data analysis, and presenting engineering conclusions to different audiences.\nâ¢\tProvide hands-on support to resolve production or product issues when they arise.\nâ¢\tAlways work safely and in line with health, safety, and environmental (HSSE) legislation and company policy.\nâ¢\tReport unsafe conditions or behaviours, contributing to a proactive safety culture.\n To be considered for this position, a candidate must possess the necessary qualifications to meet the university Engineering Graduate Apprenticeship Programme.\n\nMore information available at: https://www.uws.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/undergraduate-course-search/engineering-design-manufacture-graduate-apprenticeship/\n\nWeâre looking for someone whoâs ready to get involved, stay curious, and grow with us.
