Bakery Manager Borough Market
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bakery Manager to lead one of the companys busiest bakery sites, located in the heart of Borough Market.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the bakery. You will oversee operations, maintain exceptional standards, and drive both team performance and commercial success.
As Bakery Manager, you will be responsible for managing stock, audits, and compliance, monitoring sales and labour costs, and maintaining full P&L awareness. You will also lead recruitment, training, and rota planning, while ensuring consistently outstanding customer service and developing a motivated, high-performing team.

As Bakery Manager, you can expect:
Salary of £40,000
40-hour working week
Tips plus monthly bonus
5-day working week (TuesdaySaturday, with occasional Sunday/Monday)
One weekend day off each week

The Person
The successful Bakery Manager will have:
Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3
Minimum 1 years experience within a commercial kitchen environment
Minimum 1 years experience in a leadership or management role
Strong organisational skills with a proactive, hands-on approach
A genuine passion for food and developing high-performing teams
Bakery experience and P&L knowledge (desirable)
