Our large financial services client is seeking an experienced Operations Change specialist with financial crime knowledge.
* Support the Programme Manager and OAD MD lead by providing business and product expertise to drive operations transformation, including integrating operational excellence.
* Accountable for building and delivering the overall vision and driving key operational priorities. Subject matter expertise (SME) on necessary changes within the bank.
Coordinate with various workstream leads and project managers to ensure project objectives are met, including defining, testing, and validating requirements.
Background:
* CMG provides enterprise project, programme, and portfolio management (P3M) resources and expertise, operating as a strategic, centralized business function.
* Includes governance, guidance, best practices, mentoring, and up-skilling project managers and BAU staff.
* Implements a standard enterprise-wide project framework with tools, templates, and processes to ensure strategic alignment.
* Acts as a centre of excellence with qualified project, programme, and change managers, business analysts, and junior analysts.
* Champions scope workstreams impacting EMEA Operations, providing SME expertise and communication to Front Office departments.
* Serves as the Programme SME, managing communications to Operations and supporting Front Office change explanations.
* Performs initial gap analysis, updates, and finalizes it in collaboration with workstream leads and external advisors.
* Reviews Business Case and ensures proper approvals.
* Validates and prioritizes changes with the Project Manager, ensuring scope and operational model meet business needs.
* Communicates rationale and changes to impacted areas, ensuring regulatory and business requirements are met.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
* Experience in Operations and driving Operational Excellence in major financial institutions.
* Operational Change expertise.
* Understanding of the structure of modern commercial and investment banks.
* Knowledge of products, processes, systems, and documentation impacted by projects.
* Good grasp of organizational structure in EMEA, with relevant contacts at all levels.
* Experience delivering major projects under tight deadlines, managing multiple workstreams.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentations.
* Good time management, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
