Are you a hungry and ambitious Buyer ready to take the next step in your career?
This is an exciting opportunity for someone currently working as a Junior Buyer, Assistant Buyer or Buyer within a smaller business who wants more responsibility, greater commercial exposure and the chance to work closely with senior leadership.
You will work directly with the Purchasing Director in a growing and forward thinking organisation, playing a key role in managing suppliers, negotiating costs and supporting procurement across the Mechanical & Electrical division.
This role is perfect for someone who is driven, commercially minded and motivated to progress their career in procurement.
What you will be doing
Managing procurement of materials and components across the M&E division
Working with international suppliers and managing import processes
Negotiating pricing, terms and supply agreements
Identifying cost saving opportunities and alternative suppliers
Monitoring market trends and supplier performance
Supporting improvements across the purchasing function
Maintaining accurate purchasing and supplier data
What we are looking for
Experience in a Buyer, Junior Buyer or Assistant Buyer role
Experience dealing with international suppliers and importing goods
Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Someone who is motivated, ambitious and eager to progress
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central would be beneficial but is not essential.
