Reporting to our Head of Application Support, this role oversees the support and maintenance of applications.
Based in Hoddesdon, the role reports to the Head of Applications and includes line management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and committed to providing excellent support for critical business applications.
About our role
Improvements - Enhancing system resilience and supporting daily operational technologies.
Processes - Understanding and optimizing support processes to ensure effective service delivery.
1. Leading Sprint Releases & Upgrades with thorough testing and business approval.
2. Collaborating with Product Owners to develop strategies.
3. Managing vendor relationships to ensure service quality.
4. Ensuring support services meet or exceed agreed Service Levels.
5. Regularly reviewing and improving support processes for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Stakeholder engagement and management - Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
People management - Leading and mentoring the team, monitoring performance, and providing technical guidance.
About you
You should have demonstrable experience leading application portfolio development/support, with strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies. Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central, third-party system integration, HR, and Works Management Systems is highly desirable.
