This role is crucial for ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner, including assigning and explaining daily tasks to machinists, monitoring work progress, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Day-to-day of the role: Oversee personnel operating machines, ensuring cost-effective deployment of resources (labour and material) to achieve plans. Ensure all necessary components are available to meet production requirements. React to situations as they arise to achieve the company's objectives. Supervise the team, manage discipline, timekeeping, and absence. Provide training and plan workflow to meet customer requirements. Communicate in a concise and timely fashion.
