We are now seeking a reliable and motivated 3.5T Van Driver to join our team in Guildford. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines driving with removals work, offering stability and the chance to work as part of a supportive team.
The Role:
As a 3.5T Van Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of household and office items. Alongside driving, you will assist with removals, working in a team of 2–4 people to carefully lift, load, transport, and unload goods. This role involves manual handling, teamwork, and providing excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive 3.5T vans safely and efficiently, following UK road regulations.
* Assist with loading, unloading, packing, and moving household or office items.
* Perform manual handling and heavy lifting as part of a removals team.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure the van is kept clean and roadworthy.
* Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.
* Be flexible to work overtime, weekends, and occasional nights away as required.
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence (Category B).
* Previous experience driving 3.5T vans.
* Good level of physical fitness (must be able to carry out heavy lifting).
* Team player with good communication skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and manner.
* Previous removals experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
