Were looking for a skilled and customer-focusedElectricianto join our team in Norfolk. Youll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical repairs and installations in both occupied and void properties. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining high standards of service and safety.
This role is a full time position, working 40 hrs Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hr unpaid lunch.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform efficient and high-quality electrical repairs and upgrades.
* Carry out planned maintenance and installations, including kitchen and bathroom electrics.
* Conduct fault finding, testing, and inspection of domestic dwellings.
* Complete all relevant NICEIC paperwork.
* Respond professionally to customer enquiries and liaise with our Operations Centre.
* Mentor apprentices or trainees when required.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and company-issued devices in excellent condition.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Data Protection, and company policies.
* Support continuous improvement and value-for-money initiatives.
What Were Looking For
Experience:
* Strong knowledge of the building and construction industry.
* Experience in property maintenance and working within the social housing sector.
* Confident decision-maker with problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with Health & Safety practices.
Qualifications:
* 17th Edition (Essential), 18th Edition (Desirable).
* 2391 Testing & Inspection (Desirable).
* Health & Safety training (Desirable).
* Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
Skills:
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
* Technically proficient in core and associated trades.
* Good IT skills, including use of tablets and Microsoft packages.
