Join to apply for the Junior Content Designer role at The Law Society.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy content design team and help the Law Society to build awareness of, engagement with and satisfaction amongst our members. You will use user-centred design (content design) to make complex legal, regulatory and policy issues easy to digest, using clear, engaging and accurate language.
You will publish digital content using content management systems, using website traffic and behavioural analytics tools to monitor and act on engagement. Working closely with colleagues across communications, policy, public affairs and research, you will proactively develop your understanding of our members and other segmented audiences. This is an exciting and varied role where your expertise and knowledge will be used to great effect to make a real impact for our members.
Responsibilities
* Create, edit, publish and manage high-quality, trusted and practical resource content, working closely with subject matter experts, campaign managers and senior stakeholders.
* Publish digital content using content management systems and monitor engagement using analytics tools.
* Collaborate with colleagues across communications, policy, public affairs and research to understand members and other audiences.
* Apply user-centred design (content design) principles to translate complex legal, regulatory and policy issues into clear, engaging communications.
What we're looking for
* Experience creating, editing and publishing digital content for a professional audience
* Understanding and experience of user-centred design (content design) principles
* Ability to quickly understand complex or technical issues and translate into engaging, easy-to-understand communications
* Experience using content management systems (CMS) to create, edit and maintain content and landing pages
* Good understanding of content design principles and experience applying them to create, edit and commission content using data and insight
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to make complex issues easy to digest
* Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, with ability to form positive relationships at all levels
* Self-motivated, flexible, proactive and positive; able to respond to change and manage priorities
* Planning, analytical and organisational skills to lead on long-term projects
