What will I be doing as a Key Account Manager?
* Explore and develop new business opportunities
* Manage and maintain excellent relationships with existing key account portfolio - primarily located in the North West region
* Support customers on a day to day basis, working with other teams to ensure first class service is provided
* Promote the Carrier Way
* Drive sales performance to meet SIC targets
To be successful in this role you will:
* Proven experience developing and managing key accounts
* Technical background within transport refrigeration would be a bonus
* Ability to engage with senior executives and create demand for new solutions.
* Proven experience and ability to develop and execute consultative sales strategies that drive value growth for customers.
* Proven ability to influence and work effectively across all levels of the organisation.
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities and ambiguity.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal across a wide audience. This includes the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical teams.
* Willingness to travel and stay out overnight
* Strong negotiation skills: ability to understand contractual, legal language
* Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
