This is a hands-on role where you’ll coordinate key programme activities, support stakeholder engagement, and contribute to monitoring, reporting, and financial and administrative processes. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our programmes deliver measurable impact in global health innovation.

5. Assist in the preparation of programme reports, presentations, and documentation for both internal and external audiences.

Operational and Administrative Support

6. Provide operational and administrative support for programme delivery, including financial administration, procurement processes, and contracting, ensuring compliance with institutional and funder policies.
7. Maintain accurate programme records and filing systems, ensuring version control and audit-readiness.
8. Support the organisation and logistics for programme-related events, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities, including booking venues, arranging travel, and handling participant communications.
9. Liaise effectively with internal LSTM departments such as Finance, Contracts, and Research Governance to support programme operations.

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management

10. Act as a key operational point of contact for programme stakeholders, partners, and collaborators, supporting effective communications and relationship management.
11. Assist in organising stakeholder meetings, partner visits, and knowledge-sharing activities.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as an integral and flexible member of a fast-paced collaborative environment. You will be able to demonstrate:

12. Degree in relevant field and/or demonstratable professional experience
13. Knowledge of programme or project management principles
14. A demonstrable track record of meeting deadlines
15. Experience supporting complex programmes or projects within a higher education, research, or innovation setting
16. Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, including academic and professional service teams

18. 30 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, plus Christmas closure days
19. Generous occupational pension schemes
20. Government backed “cycle to work” scheme.
21. Affiliated, discounted staff membership to the University of Liverpool Sports Centre
22. A range of additional family friendly policies
