My name is Summer; I am registered blind and live in Newcastle with my husband and our eight children. Our oldest is in year 8 and our youngest are baby twins. Three of our children also have autism and ADHD. In my very limited free time, I enjoy watching soaps, singing, listening to audiobooks and watching Disney movies. I am looking for an easy‑going and friendly personal assistant to help me in my day‑to‑day life.
Responsibilities:
* Being my eyes when out and about – driving my large nine‑seat vehicle and guiding me.
* Assisting with the double pushchair and accompanying me to baby groups and classes.
* Guiding me through my youngest children’s swimming lessons in the pool.
* Helping with shopping and informing me about my children’s activities when we are at places like the park or soft play.
* Accompanying me on the school run.
* Assisting with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning and organising the home.
* Job share opportunities are available.
You will need to drive my Motability car. A clean UK driving licence is essential.
