A not-for-profit organisation with flexible working policies including hybrid working arrangements based in the North Kent area.
1 day a week in the office in Maidstone (Tuesdays) plus any extra occasional meetings as required.
Your new role
You will have a number of key focusses in this role:
1. Develop and manage quality assurance frameworks to ensure operational effectiveness andpliance with internal and external standards.
2. Undertake audits to assess adherence to policies and procedures.
3. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying any gaps or weaknesses and rmending corrective actions.
4. Partner with key stakeholders to align quality assurance frameworks with KPI's and strategic goals.
5. Support the sharing and analysis of data related to audits, controls, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment betweenpliance findings and strategic performance objectives.
6. Supports the DPO in relation to assurance of GDPR and other data-relatedpliance.
7. Collaborate to identify and prioritise process improvement initiatives that drive better organisational performance.
8. Support the preparation and analysis of reports related toernance andpliance metrics, providing insights to key stakeholders.
9. Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on assurance and controls matters.
What you'll need to succeed
10. You will be an experienced internal auditor, risk management, orpliance specialist with experience gained in a regulated environment, preferably in the public or not-for-profit sector.
11. You will have a strong understanding of quality assurance frameworks, internal controls, andpliance processes.
12. Plus strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and issues from data and reports.
13. You will have excellentmunication skills, and be able to liaise effectively with all levels of internal and external staff, including SLT.
14. You will have strong knowledge ofernance, risk management, and regulatorypliance.
