Why This Role Matters
As our KS2 SEND Provision Lead, you will be at the heart of a strategic transformation. You’ll lead the creation of a dedicated space for regulation, intervention, and quiet learning, tailored to the unique needs of our pupils. You’ll deliver targeted support aligned with EHCP outcomes, reduce reactive behaviour interventions, and ensure smooth transitions across phases — all while building a culture of excellence and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development of a bespoke KS2 SEND space for regulation, intervention, and quiet learning.
* Plan and deliver interventions for individuals and small groups, directly linked to EHCP outcomes.
* Support the strategic separation of EYFS/KS1 and KS2 provision to better meet developmental needs.
* Coach and mentor support staff, delivering modular CPD and modelling best practice.
* Work closely with the SENDCO to ensure consistency, quality, and strategic alignment.
* Lead dysregulation support, reducing the need for senior leader intervention.
* Promote safe transitions and minimise disruption across phases.
* Contribute to whole-school SEND strategy, policy development, and specialist deployment.
* Build expertise in areas such as dysregulation and pre-verbal communication.
* Support families through home visits and collaborative planning.
* Coordinate whole-school programmes, policies, and activities that enhance SEND provision.
* Provide curriculum support, applying specialist knowledge to support teaching and learning.
* Deliver lessons and assess progress during short-term teacher absence.

The Offer
* Grade: Warwickshire Grade H (Scale Points 17–22)
* Hours: 32.5 hours/week, term-time only (39 weeks/year)
* Salary: £30,060 - 32,654 full time equivalent (will be pro-rated for actual hours and weeks worked)
* Start Date: October 2025 (or sooner subject to checks)

The person undertaking this role is expected to work within the policies, ethos, and aims of the Trust and to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Head of Human Resources.
The post holder will be expected to have an agreed flexible working pattern to ensure that all relevant functions are fulfilled through direct dialogue with employees, contractors, and community members.
English Language Requirement
This role is covered under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016. Therefore, the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement.
